|
|
Since everyone is listing their toys, I have one pinball machine, a Williams Hyperball. It was a freebie, curbside pick up. This lead to my pachislo addiction. I knew a place where they sold arcade machines so after I got it home, I went there and inquired. Not only was there several for parts, I got a service manual and the proper amount of balls to operate. I had to repair the wiring harness, both were hacked in half to take the machine apart. Made all of the repairs, loaded the machine and threw the switch, it worked. Played it for years, and made a friend along the way. It sits in the basement, soon to be moved to a new home and set up with the pachislo's, my drum set, BAR, and new gameroom. _________________ On the Level, By the Square,

Nice story, I've only ever played that machine once and it was not functioning properly. Cool machine though! _________________ http://www.devographx.com |

Jukebox is in the garage plus my Coke "coffin" cooler. Must have room for them also. Amp is out of the jukebox, so that's another project down the road. It was a freebie from a friend who owned a commercial building he was cleaning out. Loaded with some classic soul and motown 45's and some of the sleeves still with them. Metz saw it when he was here, it's covered with dust and boxes surrounding it.
Coke machine is a small one from the 70's. Lift the lid, refridged box, the coin mech is gone and so is the racking system. Still works. I have two wooden cases with bottles (mixed) in the basement. Need to find the metal rack for that also. _________________ On the Level, By the Square,

Well, our pick of the house to put this in isn't panning out at all. Finally got a response and our agent told us the details, NO WAY !! We looked at a tri-level today that has possiblilties but I can't have the Hyperball, small Coke coffin cooler, jukebox or drum set. We have room for the keyboard, my guitars, piano, accordian and the slot machines.
If anyone local (michigan) is interested in these, let me know. I'll even take Pachi's in trade !! I have the service manual for the Hyperball and jukebox, it's a Rockola 484 I think, have to dig out the manuals to be sure. It has a amp / power issue, never got around to checking it out, but it's complete. _________________ On the Level, By the Square,

I like the colors and look of the machine. I have never played one, the guys I know who had them did not keep them.
The hyperball is a unique and different machine. It is flipperless, no pop bumpers, no spinners no ramps, nor plunger. Because of this many collectors and IPDB.org do not consider it a pinball machine.
from IPDB.org:
"Not A Pinball —
When used as a specialty indicator in this database, this term is used to indicate that a game is not a pinball game, but some other type of arcade game. This indication is used for some games that have been added to the database because they are often confused with a pinball machine or to clarify an issue about it or it's manufacturer. "
It looks like it uses smaller balls than a regular pinball also, I would like to try it before you have to get rid of it Dale. _________________ Mike

It uses small balls, they might be tougher to get.
It is an arcade game, it seems more like a video game than a pinball. The rules are posted on IPDB.org the rules really are worded like it is a video game, but using balls on a playfield instead of a video screen. _________________ Mike

I've played that game.
It's a cool mix. The sounds remind me of a bunch arcade game mixed together.
Cool vid
Would like to see the shooting mech up close if you get a chance _________________ The Forest the future site of North America's largest Pachislo Museum
