Re: YAMASA COIN MECHANISM

Check for lights on the mainboard when you drop them down the chute, if you do not see any you may have bad sensors OR sensors that need t be cleaned. That is the first thing I would try as long as all of the wires are connected.

Re: LUCKY CHANCE OLD

I have one as well that is the oldest in my Rental fleet. Fine tuning the metal token transport with some graphite and a small hammer will make the unit more reliable, I actually have it so it only fails if the piece shifted while moving it from location to location.

Re: Need a Bellco transformer 24v 5A

Yup,

Milt and the Importer I worked with co Shipped from Japan 3 and 4 containers at a time or more. He paid from what I gather 15% more to use the better Power supply we used 4A units but I have seen as low as 3A and 2.5A used.

Re: Need a Bellco transformer 24v 5A

The thread does bring up a good topic for review... I think recommending a 6 or 7 amp Power supply for any unit after 2005 OR on may unit with Video options is a good Idea. I dont like using the 4 amp units anymore because they generate to much heat and tend to start humming after a short time. I ha...

Re: Need a Bellco transformer 24v 5A

I recommend getting the 6 or 7 amp Power supply... most of the conversions I have seen use a 3 or 4 amp that gets to warm or eventually burns if left on to long.

The 6 and up to 8 amp units do not generate as much of a hum and actually stay a lot cooler.

Re: YAMASA COIN MECHANISM

Yeah Chris, That was a PM discussion BUT I am looking at the older one and I have a feeling that they may even be interchangeable. at least from a mounting standpoint. I don't have a new mech to test the theory but who knows what Craigs list and Goodwill may bring...

Once this is completed, You or one of the Admins should compile and combine the info for reference and Leave the threads open for any additions or comments. I think these coin Mechs are Nippon and were used by many manufacturers.

Chris, that switch is for one of the older picagorus or new pulsars (or similar chassis) I have a rental fleet full of them and have the part. (that particular unit also works as the credit/or no credit button) my email is on the server I will send one. I have it in my toolbox now.
