Re: Site Upgrade

Most of the functionality should be back except for the ability for users to add new machines. If you see think that is wonky such as "errors" at the top of a page let me know and I will investigate.

Site Upgrade

I was forced to upgrade the site to a newer version of PHP. This in turn forced me to update to the latest version of PHPBB. This caused most of the functionality of the site to break. But, hey the forum still works :) I am going to spend the next week or so trying to get the board back to where it ...

Site Upgrade

I upgraded the site to PHPBB 3.2.8 last night. The only fallout I am seeing at the moment is the News/Announcement area of the main portal page. I have disabled that for now until I come up with a solution. The portal I use for PachilsloDB is no longer supported so I might be forced to find a new so...

Wayne, Be nice Wayne---or you might be banned by the Boss. Seems it has happened to me (even though I was innocent, of course :!: ). And he might consider me for a moderator in your place! Where is that falling down laughing smiley when I need it? How about this I add the image but separate t...

Re: A new look for the machine database

I do like the "pick a letter" feature and the overall look of the new format. Not having the picture of the machine displayed, along with the name of the machine, after picking a year or manufacturer will be missed. It is a feature in the Old Database that shouldn't be omitted in the New ...

A new look for the machine database

A while back I was working on new look for the database page. I wanted to freshen it up to make it look like it fit in with the rest of the site without changing the basic layout. Over on the left hand side of the site (non-tapatalk users only) you will notice a new menu item "New Machine Datab...

PachiParts.com is shutting down on January 1st, 2018

I have decided to shutdown our sister site Pachiparts.com due to the lack of activity on that site. On or about January 1st, 2018 the site will no longer be available for use. For anyone who has credits on the site you have until January 1st, 2018 to use them. You have until Febuary 1st, 2018 to req...

In reply to your return, I'm not blocking cookies. I rechecked settings and everything is as it should be. Just wanted to let you know I have not dropped this. I am sometimes seeing the same issue of having to log back in for no apparent reason. I am trying to figure out a pattern in order to be ab...

Re: Forum Upgrade Complete

I think I got the Virtual Parlors working again. Please let me know if you have any issues.

While working on the virtual parlors I find it hard to read and work with. I am going to try and make it easier to read and use. First step will to at least make everything a little larger.

The only way I can see it happening is if cookies are being blocked. Check out your safety settings: (alt-x) Safety->web page privacy report to see if any cookies are being blocked.

You didn't answer my question about how do you login.

Re: Forum Upgrade Complete

Seems like some sort of glitch. If you can provide me with some information I will work on getting this resolved. What browser are you using, IE, Edge (win10), chrome, firefox? There are several different ways to login. Using the User Information block on the left, Using the login menu item (just be...

Forum Upgrade Monday January 30th: 7:30 am EST

I will be performing an upgrade on the forum software Starting at 7:30 am on January 30th. It should take only a few hours to complete. During this time I will be removing old accounts of users who have zero posts and not logged in since 2012. I might delete more but it is a start. Unlike the previo...

Re: silverball mania

I remember playing that machine as a kid. From what I remember it was a fun machine...but heck, I was a kid and everything was fun. Having never owned a real pinball machine I can't see how any one wouldn't get boring after playing it for a few 100 times. If it is a reasonable price and you can perh...

It didn't happen this morning. Mostly because I forgot. Will schedule for next week sometime. Keep tuned.

Not sure why you are stressing Lou. You should be asleep during the down time :)
