the gig is up

It is time to let the :cat: out of the bag. Lou came to me with the idea of banning him for a April Fools joke. So he started laying the ground work later in the day on the 1st. I though what better way to steer people away from detecting it as a joke but to make the excuse is that he blew my plans ...

An announcement

[mod] The following was part of an April Fools Joke and should not be taken seriously Running an internet site comes with many challenges. You need to deal with all sorts of personalities and need to understand that not everyone can read the same words and take it in the way it was meant to be taken...

Definitely take some good pictures and I will add them. When taking the pictures make sure you are head on and there is no glare from any lights...I am very particular ;)

I am curious to what is your basis to rare? Rare does not always equate to valuable. I think a value of $100-$150 a more reasonable price.

not to mention that the LEDs are a little more forgiving on the artwork since it produces less heat when used for back lighting.

Seeing it is an English title I would think you might be able to get the $150. English titles are more appealing to the masses...even if it not a great machine an English title will more often sell for more that a non-English title.

finally!!

I finally finished entering all the 2010 machines in the database. It has been a very busy year with work and all that time I spend procrastinating. We now have over 1700 machines in the database. Hopefully I wont take as long to get the 2011 machines in. Along with entering the new machines I also ...

VGC? Found your ad here http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/vgm/2721168124.html

Price is a little high but quite in line for what other people are listing their machine for in your area...not sure they are selling at that price though.

FYI, in order to get a AAA discount all you have to do is show your card. I let my membership lapse years ago but when I needed to ship a machine I showed them the card and still got the discount...so don't throw away expired cards.

YMMV

If I recall correctly the gold finish seems to start to flake off after time and is more noticeable since there is silver metal underneath.

Location would be good. Are you willing to ship? How many tokens come with it? Is it the gold version? If so, does it have any flaking? A picture would also be helpful. Have you tried craigslist? I would expect you to be able to get $100-$150 for it. Maybe more depending on where you live. Dang, I a...

I am not sure where you are getting your shipping prices from but the last time I shipped a machine it was $80+ (with my AAA discount) from MA to NY and I packed it myself.
