I am not sure where you are getting your shipping prices from but the last time I shipped a machine it was $80+ (with my AAA discount) from MA to NY and I packed it myself.

He says he still has quite a bit of parts... including reel sets & hoppers.
Primarily older titles (2000-2004 era).
Good news about the parts. So much for that rumor that he threw everything out.

Very nice. At first I thought you converted your kitchen into a gameroom. I was watching without sound so if you explained your were in a basement I missed it.
What front end are you using for mame?

MAGIC MONSTER 2

This was originally posted in the technical help forum but since it was such a nice review I thought it belonged here as well. I had a total of 5 pachinko's and I thought I was going to be a die hard pachinko owner with no sights on owning a pachislot. And then I saw LCD's and Overlays... And it was...

Here is one I found on craigslist.

http://nh.craigslist.org/tag/2472512688.html

it is listed for $300...you might be able to print it out and get a few more $ from the insurance company.

In the past when I copied the database to a new server we saw a dramatic speed increase....but not this time. Well, it was worth a try. Thanks to all who responded.

Maintenance has been completed. Let me know if it is faster, slow or the same when trying to access the forums (reading, posting, etc).

Thanks,

Scheduled downtime.

I am going to be doing some maintenance on the website sometime over the next few days. I am not sure when I will have the time. The work should increase the speed seen when accessing the forums. Just wanted to let people know so that they won't freak out.

(Yes, I am talking about you Lou ;))

Just got done tearing apart my "Fireworks" machine. Cleaned & reassembled. Hey Chris, Guess what?! I need the lights redone on my back-lit-reels :) I will get a set ready for you if you decide have them done. I though you were getting the "Fireworks" machine not Hanabi Hyakk...

If you can find one I would suggest Popeye. It is a fun machine with some really vibrant colors. DDK is a good machine as well. I liked the action the top reels gave.

There are very few machines that are truly 'rare' and I do not believe this is one of them. Even if it is rare it may not be a theme that is widely sought after....sometimes something is rare because no one wants it. With that said NET is a very good brand and that machines are solidly built. In the...

That is one powerful looking machine ;)

If you can get a date off of it somewhere I will see about adding it to the database. Also take a close up of the pay table. I usually include the reels strips too but I don't I will ask for you to disassemble them

The no-sync message says to me that the video screen is probably functioning correctly. It sounds like the video cards is what is bad or not receiving power. It there are fan on the video card of the GHG? I think my Popeye has one. Is it spinning?
