I think Forest makes a fine addition to the staff here at Pachislodb.
I think we all can appreciate his enthusiasm for the hobby.
Now he has to work here I hope he still can spend the quality time he has in the past. He can help us fight :spam1: even :spam2: with :ogre:

The pin heads use Krylon triple thick for coating the back, and the old back glass are best kept out of the cold, it shrinks the paint and cracks the ink, and it then separates from the glass.
I have all my back glass inside, even if the rest of the machine sits in a shed.

Wow I can't imagine an EM pinball arcade, throw in a few ball bowler EM's and it would be a nice trip back in time.

I heard the place is pretty much his basement, a very well organized and packed basement. He is an enthusiast of the machine and the hobby. We need someone like that to support pachislo. The price per unit makes a big difference, at $75-100 for a working one on CL who could make any $$ selling parts?

Cool dale! I wondered about that G What do they call the older games with none of those things ? Bagatell? GReat g We get that's an arcade game I was trying to answer your question, I am not sure what it is classified as. Your probably right it might be considered a bagatelle. It looks like a cross...

It uses small balls, they might be tougher to get.
It is an arcade game, it seems more like a video game than a pinball. The rules are posted on IPDB.org the rules really are worded like it is a video game, but using balls on a playfield instead of a video screen.

I like the colors and look of the machine. I have never played one, the guys I know who had them did not keep them. The hyperball is a unique and different machine. It is flipperless, no pop bumpers, no spinners no ramps, nor plunger. Because of this many collectors and IPDB.org do not conside...

i went back and played this machine while waiting for Avatar to begin. A friend and I played a few games. The donkey mini-playfield was broken already! I should have played a few mini-games but it just sat there, bummer. No donkey ball anymore.

20K is way too large for me. 6k is too much. I prefer the 'bargin' machine. the most I spent on a machine is $2400 on the TZ. I think I like the $400 BOP almost as much.

I have read about the compression torture/death it was a barbaric, cruel, slow and painful way to meet ones demise. often used as indicated to get a confession and also kill the accused. We humans have done the most terrible things to each other in the past.

Local store selling Pachislo cheap.

i found this on GR CL http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/spo/1474884749.html
they were charging $200 without LCD $250 with LCD two years ago. I wonder if they are dumping the broken ones? $75 is a good price for a JSR. I bought my Sindbad from this store years ago.
