Hello Magic, It's been a really long time since I worked pinball. When I did, I found that the contacts on the switch, that activates the solenoid, would have carbon build-up from arcing. The solenoid may have gone bad: use a VOM and test for an open using OHMs, then change it over to DCV to see if ...

Loved the review.
I might have the bulbs but not the socket. I have some in a different style of socket.
Can you remove the copper lock -in pieces that touch the bulb leads? The copper pieces look pressed in.

PM an address and I'll send a couple of bulbs to see if they work.

From what I've seen on the back of my games, the 2000 would be the year. If there is a Harley dealer in your town, touch base with them. Pass it off as a contest machine where they give a token for each dollar spent in hopes of hitting it for a bigger prize cash-in. Just a thought and a way to dump ...

Mike,
Was there a sticker on the back in the upper left corner?
That is where I found the manufactured date.

I made a key guide from a 7/16 bolt that I ground down. I kinda miss those "dump runs" for treasure days... I think, I too brought home more than I took. I picked up an Artic Cat sled that was pretty much stripped except for it's reverse gear box i put on my sled, a great price... free. I ...

Sorry Mike, Yep. Some one tossed it out. I needed some 1-1/2" pipe to make snowmobile movers with when I found the key cutter in the recycle steel pile. I also had to make a guide that follows the cuts of the original key. I have a really small belt for it somewhere in my junk for it. Tie wraps...

I used the rocker switch on another games to replace the toggle with a long lever or paddle. I like the rockers over the levers. I have a couple others I got that were modded and need a rocker yet. They look much cleaner than the toggles being held in with large washers. I can make keys to work the ...

Both my Getter and Nine were swapped out with a rocker switch before I got them. Sorry.

Reset Key

I got my key machine working. I found it at the dump in Minnesota. It's ugly but I was able to copy my house key. In a week I should be able to copy keys like the ones (double-sided) in the thread below in about a week. I'm waiting for the blanks to arrive. Should be @$2.50 each, plus S&H( $0.45...

The mech on the left is from a Getter Mouse (model M-2) and the right from my NINE (model M-6). I noticed that the newer M-6 design made for easy replacement of the sensor that seems to fail more often. The sensors are interchangable with a little wire cut and repair. The penny was for size comparis...

GODZILLA

There is a little Godzilla that pops up and lights in front of each reel just before a possible bonus round. Thought that was rather cool compared to other games from that time frame.

Metz, It's alive !!! Thanks for the coin mech. I spent some time this weekend playing with PK. The coin mech was missing a plate that aligns the token as it's dropped in to the shoot. I made one from cardboard and duct tape. When I get a chance, I'll duplicate it with sheet metal. Do you have the la...
