They used the Light bar at the top of the machine to coincide with the actions of the LCD screen. For example when the cowboy is riding his horse hard to the left the light bar rolls from right to left.
The sounds/music are top notch and make you think of all the old westerns.
While the belly glass makes you think Japanese that is where that really ends. It is quite easy to figure out what is going on during normal game play.
