This machine loves to tease you with the 4th reel. Although it is very Japanese looking it would be a mistake to overlook it just because of that. Possible to hit over 600 during a Super Big Bonus round...which is the only time is speaks to you in english.

Picked Sakurafabuki from a local lady for $40. Machine needed a good cleaning, but was well worth the price. Cleaned up easily, with all glass, reels, and light panels snapping in and out without removing any screws. Purple and red lights around top of machine are great when they flash or light up. Machine talks in Japanese, with a little English during bonus rounds. Sumo guy character on the 4th reel laughs at you at times. Sakurafabuki is a 1, 2, or 3 coin play machine, with a small LED display above reels that displays messages when in bonus rounds. Overall, fun to play for an older machine, but one drawback is there is no English on the front glass.

The name "sakurafubuki" means "Cherry Blossom Storm". The game reflects this with its imagery and with additional sounds of wind in the background when the bonus reel spins. If I could understand what they're saying, I'm sure it would reflect it, too!

The machine I have has a different bottom panel, which I'm guessing was to "Americanize" it on the refurbish. Mine says "VIAG RAMAN" with the main character picture between the words. Took me a while to realize it was saying "Viagraman".

It's a fun game with lots of great sounds. Glad I own it!
