moved pins out of the garage

Post by Gman »

I finally moved the two pins I had in the garage inside. Twilight Zone and Big guns. The heat and humidity were too much, the BG started to develop a sticky lower right flipper. I moved my trusty old Calcomp plotter out , either to the garage or storage. I re-arranged my home office and now have two pinballs and two vintage pachinko here.
I have an AC unit in the window so it is like playing in a meat locker.

I haven't played any pinball machines in probably 30 years, but was thinking I should pick up a couple to finish out my gameroom... I was thinking something like a Twilight Zone or Funhouse, etc...

Are these popular games worth the higher dollar they command?

Any recommendations from anybody? Looking for something that will be fun for family and friends, young and old, male and female...

And for you Michigan guys, is there anyplace in Michigan with good games in good condition at good prices?

Thanks

There are many guys selling in Michigan, More machines are in the Detroit area, a few are for sale from guys in Battle Creek, Muskegon, and By traverse city.
check craigs list. A possible great deal on a Black knight is in Kalamazoo.
There is an eight ball pin on GR CL. http://www.craigshelper.com/results.php ... tring_neg=
it has the Fonz on the back glass.

Always a struggle keeping my back healthy. I moved both of these by myself, with the help of a hydraulic cart

and an appliance dolly Image
the step from the garage into the house was the worse pull.
I had to remove the door from the garage into the kitchen and my office door. to fit TZ through. I soaked in the hot tub last two mornings and feel fine!
