A few photos I took at the pinball museum. There are a lot more machines than those pictured in the photos, and above each machine is a card with the history of the machine, and the current high scores for male, female, male & female under 13, and male & female over 50.

Everyone was having fun (note the elderly woman in one of the pics next to my daughter). They host birthday parties (one was just ending when we got there) and have specials throughout the week. I got some coupons online that made it $5 for 2 hours, but they weren't good until the next day. No problem, we'll be back. They also have half hour and whole day rates. It's right on the boardwalk, so I imagine they're pretty busy in the summer. There were plenty of people there when I went, considering it was a Winter Saturday, and though it was around 40*, with the wind chill it was probably closer to 20. It's also within walking distance of the Stone Pony, so it's a neat place to hit before a show.

It's nice to see these being restored to tip top condition, I wonder do they do there own work? It would be interesting to see the begining and the .. well the end we see on the floor. Nice work.

One of the guys who service their machines are http://www.antiquepinball.com/, who happen to be in the next town over from me. After reading a bit more, it seems they've got about 5 people who work on them.

Gman, the pinball hall of fame you linked to is in Vegas, this one is in Asbury Park, NJ. Both look really neat.

Well I at first assumed he was talking about Tim Arnolds place, it sounds more like he was at the Silverball museum in NJ.

That place looks cool. I bet the glare from the outside can cause you to miss a ball or two. How many machines did they have? Were they mostly older machines? I too notice like arraking that they looked factory fresh. Thanks for the pics!

The glare wasn't really noticeable while playing, but it seems to have been an issue with my cellphone's camera. I think the machines run from around 1935 up to some early 2000's models, with a pretty good representation of each era. I don't know the exact number of machines, but I believe it's somewhere in excess of 200.

I bet it has a nice glow at night

My daughter had my 8 year old grand son's birthday party there. Great time. The only issue was parking close by since meter parking was all taken in season in Asbury Park.
