What a great machine to have as your first.
Sets the bar kinda high though

I bet you'll miss the Sapp sooner then you think.

Actually, I never held the Beast Sapp in the high regard that the rest of you seem to.
It was so-so, but it was in the 1st wave on the chopping block due to it's low ranking within my library of pachis.
....I also hated the tri-color toplights on that model.
I can deal with them on the Sinbad Adventure, since I rate it higher. :P

I have them rated the other way around
Very close though.

I'd stack either one of them up against a newer model. The reel overlay action is some of the best in the industry!

congrats on your first sale, tell the new guy about pacislodb . Maybe he will buy more once the addiction sets in!
I edited your first post with Youtube link to point to your new video.
Where are you located? maybe I could have my trucker buddy stop in and buy a couple of your remaining machines.

Thanks.
I have indeed directed him here, but he's more of a gear-head.
His main focus is runnin' his mud-truck at his local pit.
I think this was a one timer due to his need to keep his wife out of the casino, but ya never know.
Once that pit ices up, maybe he'll be lookin' for a new fixx. :P

I'm an hour and a half East of Cleveland, just outside of Youngstown, Oh in a depressed old automotive/steel town called Warren.
I can't image why anyone would journey to this Mecca, but buyers are welcome. :D

The only bite I've had is one @$$ that emails me once every 2 weeks trying to get me to give him all machines on a payment plan (at a discount, non-the-less).
I'm not Sears, cash up front...
& I'll keep them in the laundry room till the next oldest moves to college before I let anyone knock me further down on price.
... that was a train-wreck of a sentence. :(

Is that the guy you more-or-less told him where he could get off? Persistent dude. Can you block his email?

Tell him you will do layaway...once he is paid up he can have the machines....and if he ever neglects to make a payment he would need to start all over again.

Wasn't this the guy though that Tiki was concerned that his establishment-to-be might bring undesired politzei attention back to Tim?

Yep, the same shady scheister.
I told him I would sell him what he could pay for....
Cash up front. He agreed to two machines a month... 2 months ago.
I even offered to bring them to him & show him how they operate. (He claims to be 60yrs old)
I've given him my phone number & called his twice.
He doesn't answer the phone, has made no attempt to make good on his "agreement" & drops out of contact for weeks before sending me a follow-up email response.
His last correspondence was a lengthy rant accusing me of mental problems & claimed,
"nobody wants your damn Japanese machines so give them to me for what I want & be done with it".
I kept my head & emailed back:
Mr. Xxxxxxxx,
First allow me to stress, these items you have inquired about were posted to an internet advertising forum.
They were posted for immediate sale.
They were not posted for months of bargaining.
Whether it be a case of space, cash or both... I indeed need to sell these items.
I do not invite strangers into my home.
I offered to bring them to you & it was my belief this was a "win/win" offer.
You would not have to go out of your way to pick up & I would not be inviting an anonymous individual into my home.
I do watch the news, & its scary the things people have done to realtors recently.

I don't believe that I owe anyone an explanation as to why I have to sell my belongings....
However, I offered you one.
In addition to needing space, I face a three month layoff at the beginning of November.
I have six children. Two are grown & out of the house, but the others are facing a December with no Christmas.
Now, seeing how you are such the charitable/warm heart individual as you endlessly touted in previous correspondence,
you must be able to understand how that would make a parent feel.
The $900 I looked to make off the sale of "the Japanese machines that nobody wants" was my last effort at a holiday.

You are intitled to your opinion of me, as am I of you...

All I have left to say is that these machines are for immediate sale.
If you are interested in them, contact me by phone & we will get this done.
If not, I wish you luck finding 1 American slot for less than I'm asking for these 6 Japanese slots.

Again you may reach me at XXX XXX-XXXX
Ask for Tim

Have a wonderful evening, & I look forward to hearing from you soon.
~Tim

It's been a week, no reply.
If this joker contacts me again with another bogus charade, I will let him know my true feelings...
which; in the scheme of good taste, would not be permitted here for posting. 8)
...although I do like the lay-away idea.

As far as my job situation, the new schedule went up last night at work...
They have called back all laid off employees & reinstated 3rd shift.
So Christmas is a Green light... more of an amber light, but all's good.

Your situation was sounding forlorn. I'm glad it's going to have a more pleasant 2010 end.

Wow! What an A$$! If he contacts you again just tell him his price just went up! Just a small fee you charge A$$holes who aggravate you!

I'm glad to hear things are better!

What machines do you still have?

I can see if I can hook you up with anyone who is looking for them.

I think you handled it very nicely thank you
Acting the fool behind the buffer of a computer is a weak minded person.
I try not to get caught up in their world for any length of time.

A Pachi makes a great gift. How about trying a few of the old fashion techniques. Flyers at the market, want ad in the papers, flee market even few specialty stores might take a couple on consignment. Heck I've wanted to stand outside the church on bingo night and let my target audience sneak a peek

Six kids :laughing6: and 3rd shift  when do you sleep :sleepy1:
I 'm hoping Tiki and all of us have a healthy and prosperous last part of this year

Well, that was good news indeed. I'm so happy at my new job but what brings me down is the timewasters from Craigslist. I need to raise some cash to get my tractor going for leaves and snow duty so I posted some fishing gear and "hunting tools" that go boom. 3 people have dicked around with the fishing stuff, last one backed out 20 min. ago.

Tim, what is left? I'll go back and look again. If a parts tractor shows up in your area, I'll let you know I'm coming down and see what I can pick up from you. Found two complete tractors in Indiana with all attachments, one in Ohio, one in Michigan. Bro in Law and I are interested in getting at least 4 of these mini tractors and building some pullers !!

Azteca Legend
Doronjo

Tomb Raider (Red)

& for $150, I can be persuaded to part with King of King Pulsar, 7Cafe, or Tekken.
