Ecup machine

Post by jkmhlewis »

Hey, anyone know how much a Eleco "Ecup" machine is worth? Mine was ruined in a basement flood and need to find a price for our insurance company but I just liked the machine and not sure a price to re-buy one just like it. Any ideas? Thanks!

most of us would value that machine around $100 depending on tokens and condition.

for insurance purposes, a new/refurbished machine from a vendor will cost around $250-$300 and includes 500 tokens, shipping, and a warranty.

I agree with Yama if buying on the secondary market $100, but for a insurance replacement claim $200 sounds about right. Your tokens might have gotten rusty

I think $250. That's what it would cost for a new one shipped from a dealer would cost.
If there is anything left after your claim, you could part it out and sell items like locks & keys... to make up any difference on the replacement.

Here is one I found on craigslist.

http://nh.craigslist.org/tag/2472512688.html

it is listed for $300...you might be able to print it out and get a few more $ from the insurance company.
