Volume and Other Controls Location

Post by Chris »

Many times people can not find the volume control switches inside a machine or are wondering what a switch does. If you own a machine and want to share then this is the place to post your pictures of the insides of machines.

this picture needs to be flipped about 90 degrees but do you see that little switch? That's how you turn down the volume. or you can just unplug the the white and black plugs which are the speakers :) javascript:emoticon(':)')

2004 IGT Terminator volume control location is on the board attached to the LCD display. Sorry for the bad focus of the picture. My camera is not the greatest and it was a freebie to me.

I get the feeling that most Aristocrat machines from the early 2000's are probably similar, but here's the control locations for a Kyojin no Hoshi (from the first set, 2002)

Volume control is on the board above the reel window inside the door. Volume is NOT home friendly, but can work well in conjunction with an after market volume control for a slightly more precise volume adjustment. (If you feel the need to adjust the volume depending on whether or not others are asleep)

While one of the outside counters will display the skill setting as many machines do, this particular cabinet also has an interior readout right next to the skill setting button located near the coin mechanism inside the door.

1: Hopper dump switch (turns hopper on continuously)
2: Power switch
3: Soft reset button (sometimes resets errors that turning the door key to the left won't reset, only experienced this once and forgot what the exact error read out was)
4: Hard reset key toggle
5: Performs a soft reset automatically after a Big Bonus game. (Up = On, Down = Off)
6: Dispenses tokens for any credits still in the machine after a Big Bonus game. (Up = On, Down = Off)
(I could have 5 and 6 reversed)
May the odds be ever in your favor
