How to find a machine in the db

The site is split into the forum and Machine Database. If you are reading this congratulations for finding the forum!
To find your machine information or to see if one offered for sale is genuine or a custom version search the Machine Database
Click the link in the above right bar. Note: clicking on the image below, the above hyperlink or this line will take you to the Machine Database

Once in the Machine Database you should see a list of all the machines in the database If you followed a link to a specific machine another member posted for you you will be viewing the details for that specific machine.
To view all machines in the database click the Complete list link above left in the menu bar highlighted in red in this example (figure2):

To search for a machine by name the complete list is the best way to find it. For PC users press Ctrl and F key at the same time (referred to as [Ctrl F]) in Firefox a search line at the bottom of your browser will appear IE users this will open a Find box that will appear in another line, usually at the top of the active window, type in the name or part of the name to jump to machine with that word in its name. Clicking the machine name will open that machines specific details in your browser. Use your back button, backspace key or click theComplete List link again to return to the complete list of all machines.

The advanced search button (highlighted in green in figure 2) is not a good way to find a machine based on its name. Advanced search is a great way to find a machine with specific characteristics you may be interested in.
