Site Upgrade

Post by Chris »

I was forced to upgrade the site to a newer version of PHP. This in turn forced me to update to the latest version of PHPBB. This caused most of the functionality of the site to break. But, hey the forum still works :)

I am going to spend the next week or so trying to get the board back to where it was....or at least close to it.

Update 03/27/2023

I have applied many of the forum modifications that the old forum had. Some of them do not have new versions that are compatible with the newer software. Some still need to be investigated.

Fixed some of the Pachilso database. Viewing seems to work fine although some of the output looks a little wonky. Working on the ability for users to add a machine.

Most of the functionality should be back except for the ability for users to add new machines. If you see think that is wonky such as "errors" at the top of a page let me know and I will investigate.

Thanks for all your hard work Chris.
Also is there a way to delete previous WTB posts when I find the part I'm looking for?

Normally, you would just make a follow up post, that you found one. :thumbleft:

On one of the FB groups I belong to "Pachinko and pachislo slot repair buy sell and trade"
Users are reporting an inability to sign up as new users. Something about not being able to respond to a capcha or some other anti bot feature.

This may be related to the site upgrade. If there is a Moderator contact I can forward this to them.

Thanks,

Rob
I keep trying to register on Pachislodb.com, and it keeps coming up that it can't enable some invisible catchka or something, and it won't let me contact admin. Can anyone help? Thank you.
