Pentagon Pachislo

Post by jedidiah2009 »

This is a Completely Reconditioned Pentagon Pachislo Slot Machine. Machine has around 20 hours of play since being reconditioned. The machine accepts tokens(Bag of tokens included) and features an LCD screen, music and extra reels, which enhances the standard reel play. This machine is used, but has been re-conditioned. This machine is in english. I do not know much about the specifics of this machine as im listing it for my father in law. If you have any questions please ask and i will try to get an answer as quickly as possible. Located in Fairmont, WV. He is looking to get 400$

Don't want to be mean but you should do a little research. He might want $400 for it but I wouldn't expect he would get more than $100-$150 for it. Considering it's age and how much more of a modern machine you can get these days for ~$250. You might want to tell approx. how many tokens are included as that might sway the value of the machine.

as Chris stated $100-$150 is the going rate for an older machine.

Pentagon is a nice machine made by NET (which is one of the better brands), but it doesnt have any bonus features like LCD, LED, or extra reels as you have stated.

try looking at
www.bluehotaru.com
www.therobinnest.com
they have newer machines starting around $250 and includes a warranty, 500 tokens, and shipping to the 48 states.

Great machine, I have one. I would have to say $100.00 tops. I can't even get that here in Michigan.

Looks like he disagreed with what some of the DB members felt it was worth.
Starting bid $420; Buy It Now for $600.
To play or not to play, that is the question.

He posted it on ebay....even a quick look there shows that new more sophisticated machines are only going in the $200 range. You can lead a pachi to tokens but you can't make 'em spin...or something like that.

Pentagon Pachislo

Post by KSWSLW »

Everyone here is correct. An older Pachi is getting about $100 - $125 here in Colorado. Sometimes on CL you can get one for even $35 (King Pulsar) I wish I could sell some of my older machines for big bucks, then newer ones could be bought from Robin.

You will get more money for a machine if you are willing to ship. Local pickup only severely limits who your potential buyer will be. Timing of when your sell your machine is key for local pickup only sales as you have to find the right set of buyers drive up your auction price.

It's not a bad looking machine. The colors really pop but I still don't think it's worth more than 100-150. The one benefit it has over others from that time is that it is a very English themed machine.

It's a Pentagon. If they'll buy $500 toilet seats...

Of course, with the LCD and extra reels, it's probably worth it :)

Less than three hours left----still no bids. Maybe he will get the idea that it's a tad overpriced?

Bids? I can't imagine he has any watchers. Perhaps someone wants to snipe it.

In its day it was a decent machine. not the most exciting machine, but it was slightly better than average. its been years since i played it.

If it's anything like Halloween (NET) it a well made machine.
Compared to other manufacturers during the same time NET machines have a lot to offer. Nice lighting, metal hopper and a fun chance game.
It's one of the only machine I own with so much wood used on the interior of the chassis.
$150 tops with enough tok's to run
