Reset Key
I got my key machine working. I found it at the dump in Minnesota. It's ugly but I was able to copy my house key.
In a week I should be able to copy keys like the ones (double-sided) in the thread below in about a week. I'm waiting for the blanks to arrive.
Should be @$2.50 each, plus S&H( $0.45), Plus $1.00 if using Paypal.

Both my Getter and Nine were swapped out with a rocker switch before I got them. Sorry.
I post a switch I found to work on Pachi-parts.

I used the rocker switch on another games to replace the toggle with a long lever or paddle. I like the rockers over the levers. I have a couple others I got that were modded and need a rocker yet.
They look much cleaner than the toggles being held in with large washers.
I can make keys to work the old ones, it's the new ones that have dimples or wiggle down the middle that I can't copy.
I trying to figure out to make the barrel style door key for many of the locks I got back in August.
Get granny's sewing machine motor, a drill arbor, a swing arm and you've got a key cutter. It needs a real belt, the tie wraps have to go.

Sorry Mike,
Yep. Some one tossed it out. I needed some 1-1/2" pipe to make snowmobile movers with when I found the key cutter in the recycle steel pile.
I also had to make a guide that follows the cuts of the original key.
I have a really small belt for it somewhere in my junk for it. Tie wraps don't last long.
I would also hit the dump for bed rails. They make for great shelving after you get them cut to size and welded. One guy used bed rails to make boat docks.

The key followers came in a couple shapes (if I remember correctly) A "V" seemed to be used the most. it matched the shape of the cutting wheel.
There was a slot cutter wheel also, used only for flat steel keys, I think another was asymmetrical, like a buttress thread. flat on one side and a taper on the other.
We used to be able to 'dump pick' 100% recycling. Some times we would come back with more than we dropped off. We found a BB gun that just needed a bolt replaced once. I shot that thing thousands more times after we found it.
We took an axe and chopped off a station wagon roof to fix our rust holes in our first cars.

I made a key guide from a 7/16 bolt that I ground down. I kinda miss those "dump runs" for treasure days... I think, I too brought home more than I took. I picked up an Artic Cat sled that was pretty much stripped except for it's reverse gear box i put on my sled, a great price... free.
I found this ashtray for my bar. I get a chuckle out of it everytime I look at it. The lady is saying " OH" on the front and you see why on the back which is not very clear in my pic.

you could always replace the lock with a toggle switch.

sdice, I can copy a lot of the reset keys, still working on a solution for the doors.
