A pachislodb first...and hopefully the last one of these

Post by Chris »

I have been hoping it did not come to this but I have decided to ban a member of the pachislodb community. I am from this point forward banning scooby_doo_m2002 from further interactions with pachislodb.

As some of you who have been around for a while might recall scooby_doo_m2002 ran a pachislo business for a very short time called pachisupplies.com where he sold tokens and the such. He had a very poor track record of delivery but from what I understood he finally came through with every ones order and he shutdown the business or was he shutdown by paypal...I am not sure.

When all this originally happened I sent a message to him asking what was up and he gave me a long sad story about things in his personal life wasn't going all that well and he didn't expect the business to take as much time as it was. I felt bad for him so once he made good on everything (again, I am not 100% sure) so I left it go.

Recently, he posted a message trading tokens for pachinko balls...or something like that. I figured that he had gotten his personal life straightened out so I didn't think anything of it. A few weeks after that I got a message from a new member basically stating that Mike (scooby_doo_m2002) was up to his old tricks. He told the member that he had sent them but they showed up back on his porch. The same stories that he given people back a year or so ago. I sent him asking him what was up and he did not repsond...and has not logged back in since he decided to cheat someone out of their money.

I tend to be a nice person and try to give people the benefit of the doubt but I can not in good conscious allow him to remain a member here giving both pachislodb and pachsilo's in general a bad name. In my mind he is either just plain stupid (or thinks I/we are) or is a thief.

I guess I'm a sucker too. I didn't let you know Chris, but maybe you saw the PMs.

I was hoping for the best. I even sent an email to the address that PayPal lists without response. The last PM I sent him has been sitting in my outbox for quite a while. I should have files a grievance with PayPal, but I think I'm beyond the 45 days now.

The first story I got was that his Father-in-law passed away and he had to leave the state immediatley. I told him to take his time, there was no rush to ship. I guess that means never. :(

Unfortunately there are crooks and not so honest people and they do make there way into there favorite places, and sometimes they also happen to be ours as well. It is indeed a sad day that someone has to be banned from being able to be a part of things here at Pachi DB.

Everyone deserves a 2ND chance
but when you take advantage of that good will there's no one to blame
but yourself!

Unfortunately you'll need to get in line and when the paypal powers decides that well comes up dry :angry3:

I was really hoping that he was going to come through. I really did not want to do this but he forced me to make the decision. It wasn't a hard decision to make. I hope no one is ever put on the same list as him.

Here is a question for you all. Should I post his name and address so that if he pops up with a new alias no one get's taken again?

I already have Mike's info on file but I think it would be appropriate to protect other members!

How about blocking his IP address.
it wont stop him from using a different computer and getting on but it may help.

I don't want to let this go too far.

WARNING: Don't deal with Mike Brassine from Indiana. He is a dishonest person.

Enough said. This topic is now locked.
