Nice I just posted mine.
I linked back to my photo's I host on my web sirte, and don't want to re size the originals, If you could make links appear non -resized that would be great.
or even keep the aspect ratio so they are not squished. For the exterior linked photos only, I can re-size copies at will.

The images will auto-resize if needed. I forgot to add that.

Anyways, I have added a new feature to virtual parlors. The ability to upload a BG image and the ability to set the font colors of your parlor.

Enjoy and Parlor On!

I am still trying to figure out the issue with 'undefined' showing in the parlors. I can not reproduce the issue. I am pretty sure it has something to do with Internet Explorer. If any one has a way to consistently reproduce the issue let me know. Also, The version of Internet Explorer would also be helpful. I am using 6 to test with and it occurred to me that it could be a issue with 7 but I would like to rule that out.

Let me just say, this is a great feature. Did you code it yourself or was it made for something else?

Thanks for your compliments. I coded it myself. It took about 1 week or so to get it all working. I used it as an excuse to teach myself how ajax works.

I have a feature or two I want to add to the Virtual Parlors but need to find the time to investigate and implement it.

Suggestions/Ideas are always welcome

Chris, I was wondering if you could add a spot for visitors to the parlors to leave comments? I would like to encourage photo's of the actual game room, the photo's from the database are great and make it simple but like my modded AutomATic it really is not the same machine. I took the easy route and posted the DB photo not my machine.
so really add comments field and some how maintain aspect ration when auto resizing the photos.
I did not realize you spent the time coding this yourself! Bravo!

That is exactly what I am going to add. I am not sure how I am going to handle this. I may just use the forum like I do for reviews or create a blog type mechanism. If I do use the forum I will probably make it automatically send an email "Someone has added a comment to your parlor" like it does for Private Messages. I also plan to hide the threads in the "real" forum.

Just made a slight change to sort the Parlor List with the most recently added/modified parlors showing first. What do you think?

I think I just found the issue with the "undefined" showing up. Those who have see in give the fix a try and let me know how it goes. It only seemed to happen with IE7 which is why I was having problems reproducing it.

Thanks!

I think you've got it Chris. When I go to manage the machines now, the machine name is still there. Thanks!

I have added a feature to the virtual parlors which allows people to add comments to a persons parlor. While you can read the comments from the forums the only way to add a comment is through the virtual parlor iinterface.

Let me know if anyone has any issues.
